Fluid Imaging Technologies Announces FlowCam® Cyano for Early Detection and Monitoring of Cyanobacteria

Cyanobacteria can produce toxins which can be harmful, even fatal, to humans and animals when large blooms occur. Based on proven dynamic imaging particle analysis (DIPA) technology, the new patent-pending FlowCam Cyano represents the next-generation FlowCam platform. 

FlowCam Cyano applications include, early detection and monitoring of cyanobacteria, algal population dynamics and classification, and water resource management and research.

The combination of FlowCam Cyano and VisualSpreadsheet® pattern recognition software can enable facilities to be much more proactive in identifying and treating harmful algal blooms, including cyanobacteria, saving time and money and better protecting their customers.
